5th International Children’s Art Competition of Small Format

„Findig Landscapes“

Propositions of the Competition

Children and young people between 4 and 19 years of age are entitled to participate. Pre-school institutions, primary, secondary and high schools, citizens’ associations, children’s cultural centers, art studios and similar institutions or organizations can participate in the competition. Individuals can participate separately.
Authors who are 19 years old must be school students.

The dimension of the art works is only 15х15cm.

Age Category
– I category 4-7 years;
– II category 8-10 years;
– III category 11-14 years;
– IV category 15-19 years;
– V category High Arts School 14-19 years.

Two-dimensional works on paper which are made by using different drawing, painting and graphic techniques are allowed. Works must not be equipped, framed, laminated or of smaller or other dimensions. Three-dimensional works, works that contain organic matter and the works sent in rolls will not be received.

Institutions and organizations can send from at least 10 to maximum 30 art works by various authors within a group participation. Only the same primary-basic school (4-15 years) and high arts school can send from at least 10 to maximum 60 art works for all grades or arts departments. One author can be represented with up to 2 art works.
Individual participants can send up to 2 art works.

It is necessary to send a completed Application by e-mail and a printed copy by post with students’ works.
Individual participants fill in a separate Application and label.  Foreign participants fill in the Application and the label in English (including the countries of ex Yugoslavia – Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northеrn Macedonia). For domestic authors see propositions on Serbian language.
It is mandatory to have an adhesive label with data on the back of each art work.

Awards
The expert jury will select up to 1120 of the most successful works and will award and praise up to 100 authors in all age categories. The jury will award art educators for outstanding artistic contribution and the most successful collection of works. Organizer will send diplomas in form of JPG file to all selected authors by e-mail.

Participation is free, no entry payment. The cost of sending the works is paid by the contestant.

Authors who do not respect the prescribed dimension of the format will be disqualified. The jury will not consider the works of authors which have not been in compliance with the terms of the competition and have been sent without a label completed with data and Application.

Works that have already been sent are not returned to authors and they become the property of RESTART Educational and Creative Center. The organizer can exhibit, reproduce, publish and dispose of some art works for the purpose of donating to the donors, as well as for financing the project, without the compensation and the consent of the author.

The deadline for the arrival of postal parcels is on June 24, 2023.

Please specify a postal mail as documents or gift.
*Please do not specify a value greater than 10 euros and respect this indication, as the organization can not pay taxes for commercial reasons, and the packages will return to sender.

Results of the competiton
Selection of artworks by the Jury will take place on August 2023.
Publication of the results of the competition will be done at the latest by September 30, 2023.
Awarded authors and art educators will be notified by e-mail.
The opening exhibition ceremony will take place on October 2023 in Velika Plana.
The opening date of the exhibition will be known on September 2023.
Sending of the postal parcels to awarded authors and e-diplomas by e-mail to all selected exhibitors will be done from December 2023 to January 2024. The cost of sending is paid by the organizer.
